CPD courses for Qualified Counsellors
At Create Hope we have a passion for equipping lives for good.
All our training is accredited through the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP) and our Diploma level courses also meet the requirements for membership to the British association of counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and the Association of Christian Counselling (ACC).

This short 3 hour workshop will provide an opportunity for you to explore and reflect on your own 'internal supervisor' and how this can enhance your therapeutic practice.
Using creative approaches, you will connect, reflect and learn key skills to make time and space, trusting in your own 'internal supervisor' and your integration from theory to practice.
This is an experiential based course.
The training costs £30 per person.
This 6 hour workshop will provide an opportunity to explore and reflect on your own parts and how to work creatively with parts with clients. Using creative approaches, you will explore some of your parts and the dialogues, connections between them.
This is based on internal family systems approach and will give space for participants own self-reflection and learning.

This 6 hour workshop will help therapists to develop skills in working with shame and attachment in the therapy relationship.
This is an experiential based course, where participants will get the opportunity to explore shame and attachment for clients and self-reflection.
Shame can be present in the therapeutic relationship, so understanding and working with both our own shame and that of our clients can be an essential part of the therapeutic process. This course will provide practical and theoretical examples to help inform your practise.

This 6 hour workshop will equip those working with children, young people and adults experiencing trauma. It will focus on Somatic trauma therapy principles to work with safety and stabiization.
There will be lots of opportunities to practice the skills learnt in trios of therapists, client and observer and reflect on learning in relation to your own therapeutic work.

This 6 hour workshop explores working with family scripts and creating genograms. This can be for work with individuals, couples or families. We will weave in theory from Systemic family therapy approaches whilst creating a safe space for participants to connect to their own family scripts and develop self-awareness in order to work with others.

This 6 hour workshop is aimed at anyone working with children and/or young people. An experiential based course, participants will have the opportunity to explore how they can work with spiritually of children and young people. It will focus on a creative and play therapy approach and will give participants space to reflect on their own spirituality and how this is played out within the therapeutic relationship.
We are a Christian organization, however through this course we will give people the opportunity to explore their belief systems and experiences of spirituality.

This course runs over 4 in person days. Through linking theory to practice, it will equip participants to facilitate therapy groups for young people and adults incorporating creative therapy approaches.
With opportunities to practice the skills learnt and reflect on learning in relation to your own therapeutic work.
There will also be an assessed element to the learning where all participants will be observed facilitating a group activity and will also need to submit a group plan which will be covered as part of the training.
The training costs £400 per person
This course runs over 3 in person days. This is for counsellors and therapist looking to develop skills in working in a more creative way with adults, incorporating play and creative therapy
approaches.
Topics covered are:
Music, Dance and movement, Art and clay and Sand trays
This is an experiential based course, where participants will get the opportunity to
practice the skills in trios of client, therapist and observer, and apply theory to
practice.
