Who we are
Create Hope is a Christian charity offering emotional support to children, young people, and families, as well as therapeutic training to equip lives for good. We recognise that every family is unique, and finding the right support for the challenges you’re facing can often feel overwhelming.
At Create Hope, we focus on the individual. Whether someone has been affected by a traumatic life event, such as domestic abuse, bereavement, addiction, or chaotic family life, or whether the root cause of emotional difficulty is unclear, we are here to support families in understanding, processing, and expressing their emotions. We offer creative and systemic-based therapy through both 1:1 and group sessions.
Our services are delivered by both qualified and trainee therapists. All qualified therapists are registered with professional bodies, including BACP, ACC, BAPT, PTUK, and NCIP.
Trainees completing placement hours with us are working towards a minimum of a Level 4 qualification in counselling or psychotherapy. Those enrolled in our accredited training programme are studying for a Level 6 Diploma in Integrative Play & Creative Therapy. This training is accredited by NCIP and aligns with the SCoPEd framework.
What we do
We support families' emotional needs by providing a safe space where individuals can explore and express their feelings, reflect on relationships and patterns of communication, process past hurts, develop self-awareness and empathy, and move towards the changes they need to make.
Through our training programmes, we aim to equip lives for good, offering accredited CPD and diploma-level training to parents, carers, schools, churches, counsellors, and other professionals.

As a Christian charity, we work with people from all faith backgrounds and those with no faith. Create Hope’s mission is to reach out to individuals and help them find their voice through creativity. It’s about showing each person that they matter, that everyone matters.
Our hope is to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, helping them see beyond their current struggles and towards a more hopeful future.
'Life was incredibly challenging when our child started sessions and our network was small. We were provided with a safe space and a bit of light at the end of the tunnel for us all.'
Parent (July 2024)
‘I learnt so much and think it would be so beneficial for everyone. Thank you for creating a safe space to learn and talk, I’ve found it so helpful.’
Parent (Anxiety-My Child and Me Workshop) June 2024
'This training has been crucial in building my confidence to develop, organise, and lead therapeutic groups within schools. I have observed a notable increase in pupil attendance, as the group sessions have provided a supportive space for pupil to share and explore their anxieties, making the transition back into school much smoother'.
