Approaches with Young People (AYP22)

Service Description

This four half days CPD course is for therapists or qualified counsellors who work with children and young people and would like to incorporate more creative and play therapy approaches into their practice. This is an experiential training course and will give you the skills needed to work more creatively with clients. During the training we will explore clay, dance and movement, art and sand trays. We will incorporate theory from Virginia Axline and Carl Rogers. Although our approach to play therapy is more non-directive we will also give participants ideas of more directive activities they can explore and introduce with clients.
